·         Experience test server management in a structured IT environment, working with both Microsoft and third-party technologies

·         Experience with automated build/test software development in both .NET C++ and C# languages

·         Experience with structured IT environment deploying applications w0ith Microsoft technology, including.NET Framework, Wise Installation Studio, and Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest

·         Experience deploying Windows enterprise software products, including applications developed as well as 3rd party applications

·         Knowledge of best practice methodologies in the continuous integration automated build, test, and deployment of software.

·         Experience with Scrum/Agile/TDD methodology a plus

·         Public Safety Land Mobile Radio experience preferred

 

 

Development and Verification team members to develop and implement automated build and test process. Document all aspects of automated build and test process, including workflows, standards, tests, and instructions. Develop tools and standards for automated testing, including test scripting framework, script creation, and configuration management. Integrate check-in validation, branching strategies, test case & defect mgmt. with automated builds, smoke tests, and metrics reporting. Act as primary SW engineer for build and automated test development. Identify, document, troubleshoot and reproduce issues for SW development team members. Maintain build server, and ensure proper backup/recovery processes are in place and active for departmental build server. Position may occasionally require after hours work for scheduled maintenance or builds.

Define TDM Requirements for this effort from BTRD documents, Master and Individual Test Plans., and Data Migration requirements from Diamond 950 to WGS system
Define TDM Security and Compliance requirements for CARS test data
Define CARS TDM Sources and verify Test Environments where test  data will be maintained
Establish TDM Strategy for this effort
Define TDM milestone plan to deliver CARS TDM
Establish TDM repository of data definition, model, etc documents relating to TDM needs
Define TDM Lifecycle & Provisioning Method - identifying tools, refresh frequencies, etc
Provide   Test Data Provisioning for CARS TDM for various Test cycles

 

CARS Test Data Management BACKGROUND
•The use of common test data across multiple test phases and teams will reduce the amount of test preparation required before execution.
•After each test pass, data will need to be refreshed in order to be used again.
•The specific strategy and tools are still being evaluated for the CARS program. IBM Optim is one tool that is being evaluated to assist the data management but at this time no decisions have been made on the extent that Optim will be used.
