Job Description:

Design, customization, integration and delivery of ITSM system, based upon BMC Remedy v7.5, to be used throughout the organization.

MUST HAVE a solid understanding of BMC Remedy solutions and is familiar with customization of their products, particularly ITSM 7.

Will work as part of a Global project team, situated across various offices & Regions.

In depth Development Experience on Remedy 6.x & 7.x AR Systems platforms (exposure to Remedy 7.5 via Beta Program is very desirable).

Customization and configuration expertise with core Remedy ITSM modules (Incident/Problem/Change/Asset) as well as the core AR System.

Detailed understanding of Atrium CMDB 2.x

Experience using BMC Service Management Process Model (SMPM)

RDBMS skills )Preferably Oracle)

Working with Remedy in a Unix environment

Java Programming & Development using an Eclipse Based development environment

Requirements verification and designing *to-be* process

Data Analysis and Mapping data elements across different systems

Working within an iterative methodology, involving end users to define and agree an ergonomic screen layout and efficient use of system workflow

Note: Communication should be outstanding.

Skills:

In depth knowledge of IT Service Management - particularly across Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management.

4+ Years Development Experience in Remedy AR Systems Version 6.x & 7.x

4+ Years Development Experience in Remedy ITSM applications Version 6.x & 7.x

4+ Years experience of helping organizations take high level process requirements & Convert them into detailed functional specifications & system designs.

Training & Certification in Remedy products via the official BMC training courses.

Able to develop a Remedy Solution from detailed specifications with minimal supervision

Must be capable of working in both a Windows and Unix environment

Knowledge of Oracle and MySQL

Knowledge & understanding of Java and JavaScript

Experience of working as part of a geographically disperse project team
