Position is in Michigan for 6 month contract / Rate: $40/hr W2

Job Description:
The successful candidate will support Treasury reporting and analysis requests from business users of the Wall Street Systems application, focusing on developing and enhancing documentation for the Wall Street reporting database (ORD).
The Wall Street application is the primary tool for management of Treasury Operations.
Wall Street is a mission critical system that processes >$3 Trillion in transactions annually.

Primary Duties:
- Develop documentation for the Wall Street reporting database (ORD), primarily screen to database column mappings, to support reporting and analysis efforts.
- In addition, assess reporting capabilities and deficiencies with the current system, develop recommendations for improving reporting solutions, and provide status updates on progress to plan.
-The reporting analyst may provide assistance to other report developers with reports, queries, and data extracts to support day-to-day business operations.
-Work as needed with the Wall Street vendor to answer questions about data definitions and mappings.

Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Wall Street Systems and the Wall Street reporting database, ORD
- Understanding of finance and Treasury business operations - Oracle and SQL Server databases, report development, SQL, PL/SQL
- Data Modeling/Design
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and ability to deliver under pressure
- Strong drive for results and ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Skills Preferred:
- Datawarehousing; Teradata
- IBI WebFOCUS reporting tool
- Business requirements gathering and process modeling
- Technical background including experience with UNIX, Java/J2EE, XML, Windows server
- Dec/Alpha and DCL experience a plus - Mainframe systems experience: TSO/MVS/JCL, COBOL, DB2 a plus

Experience Required:
5+ years supporting Treasury systems/operations and demonstrating the required skills noted above in a corporate IT environment

Education Required:
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field

Education Preferred:
- B.S. in Business a plus
