Project ScopeThe purpose of the SAP Engineering Assessment work stream is to assess the SAP platform, layers 1 though 4, and its readiness to be used as the foundation for the future GFS projects. In addition recommend a process for matching ongoing demand with capacity.Lynx SAP Platform (Lynx Finance – ECC 6.0 Landscape, Cornerstone 4.6 Landscape, LDSE-BW/BI Landscape, GDSE-BW/BI Landscape), and Portal LandscapeSAP Application engine (commonly known as Basis), Database engine, OS, Hardware, Clustering setup, Database Backup and Restore, Hardware and Software standardsProject Success CriteriaComprehensive baseline report for the current Lynx environment per stated Scope.Have specific recommendations so the environment can meet the RTP and RPO defined in BIA.Documented process for matching demand to capacity for incoming changes or projectsOutputs:·Complete (Business Impact Analysis) BIA Doc·List of gaps in current processes or check list·Outline capacity planning questionnaire.·Roles and responsibilities for Capacity management of the environment·Report on current ITS Monitoring Solution for Layer 1-4·Report on Technical Management, Change Management, system management and monitoring.·Assessment Document, includes but not limited to:oPlatform setup report based on BIA documentoBackup and Recovery Report in comparison to BIAoCluster Config in comparison to BIAoTemplates will be provided from WISE.
