Description:

Client is looking for a Front end & Java Web Developer with 3-6 years of experience developing web applications, and with an interest in working on enterprise backend applications. Our applications provide content, ecommerce, portal, eLearning, and back-office functionality to our customers. This individual will be leveraging rich internet application technologies like Flex, Rich Faces, AJAX & Flash.

 

Required Skills:

 

* At least 3 years of web development experience using Flash, Flex, HTML, CSS, HTML & Java Script

* Extensive real time project experience in one or more Java Script frameworks like YUI, Jquery, prototype, dojo.

* SQL experience and knowledge of Oracle and/or other databases.

* Integrated front end applications developed in Flex,Java Script with Java based back end systems.

* Experience in using a version control management system like Perforce, CVS, or Subversion.

* Understanding of multi-tiered web-based application development

* Implement, maintain, and document high-quality applications.

* Proficiency in troubleshooting and detail-oriented problem diagnosis.

* A team player and strong problem-solver to work with a team of other software developers, project managers, business analysts and QA analysts.

* Participate in code build, release and deployment process.

* Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Extensive design and implementation experience with TM1 cubes. A minimum of 5 years experience in the Finance and Accounting area. Three (3) years minimum experience implementing IBM Cognos TM1. Integrating TM1 for scenario based planning and Cognos 8 BI for Performance Dashboards. Deploying and Configuring TM1 in standalone environment for budgeting, planning, forecasting and consolidation. Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience is required, preferably in the Finance or Accounting areas. Ability to travel within our client region is required (Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa). Additional Desired Skills Include: Experience in full life-cycle of project development including Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout, Implementation, and Training. Cognos TM1 product certification a strong plus. Experience with Cognos Enterprise Planning a plus. Cognos Business Intelligence tool experience a plus. Ability to foster client relationships and working relationships with peers. Excellent analytical and research skills. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Self-starter with ability to work on projects with minimum supervision. Assisting with report design, creation and integration using COGNOS.
