Solid C# Developer needed at leading NYC investing company

Location : NYC

Duration : 9 months

Client : CW Financials

 

Responsibilities will include:
• Delivering the highest quality technical solutions with efficient time-to-market
• Taking full ownership over the tasks assigned
• Meeting with the team leads of the various business practices to ensure business needs are strictly met
• Clearly communicating project status to the client when necessary
• Clearly documenting business processes and development efforts consistent with standards established by the client

Qualifications:
•8+ years professional software development experience
• A proven track record of success as a software professional
• Proficient object-oriented development skills
• Strong database development skills
• Full SDLC business application development experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Technical Requirements:
• Expert C# .NET Framework 3.5 with LINQ
• Multi-threaded programming
• Solid T-SQL, SQL Server 2005/2008
• NHibernate
• Spring.NET
• Unit Testing (ex. NUnit or native VS.NET unit tests)
• GoF design patterns

Desirable Skills
• Financial Services experience
• Systems integration experience
• Apache ActiveMQ messaging
• Silverlight
• WCF
• Java
