Job Description: Data Management Test Lead

 

 

Qualifications - Must have experience with one or more of the following skills:

• Rational Integrated Tool Suite - LoadRunner, IBM’s “Application Performance Analyzer” suite
• Optim for test  data management 
• Rational Functional Tester or Rational Robot

 

Job Duties:

Deliver Test Data Management (TDM)  Approach & Plan  for Project 
Define TDM Requirements for this effort from BTRD documents, Master and Individual Test Plans., and Data Migration requirements from Diamond 950 to WGS system
Define TDM Security and Compliance requirements for CARS test data
Define CARS TDM Sources and verify Test Environments where test  data will be maintained
Establish TDM Strategy for this effort
Define TDM milestone plan to deliver CARS TDM
Establish TDM repository of data definition, model, etc documents relating to TDM needs
Define TDM Lifecycle & Provisioning Method - identifying tools, refresh frequencies, etc
Provide   Test Data Provisioning for CARS TDM for various Test cycles

 

CARS Test Data Management BACKGROUND
•The use of common test data across multiple test phases and teams will reduce the amount of test preparation required before execution.
•After each test pass, data will need to be refreshed in order to be used again.
•The specific strategy and tools are still being evaluated for the CARS program. IBM Optim is one tool that is being evaluated to assist the data management but at this time no decisions have been made on the extent that Optim will be used.
